Billing FAQ — Charges, Renewals, and Payment Questions

When will my card be charged?

If you purchased a standalone course or program

Standalone course and program purchases are one-time payments. You will not be charged again for them. Your purchases are yours to keep forever. Face Yoga Method does not enroll anyone in a recurring subscription without their explicit consent — it is illegal to do so.

If you have a membership subscription

Your membership renews automatically on the same date each billing cycle — monthly, quarterly, or annually, depending on your plan. Your next renewal date is visible in your Billing dashboard (profile photo → Billing).

Note: The Billing dashboard is only accessible in a browser or the Circle desktop app. It is not available in mobile apps.

If you're on the 30-day free trial

Your card is not charged during the trial. Billing begins on day 31 unless you cancel before the trial ends.

Why was I charged unexpectedly?

Common reasons:

  • Your trial ended. If you signed up for the 30-day free trial and didn't cancel before it ended, your membership renewed automatically.

  • Your billing cycle renewed. Check your renewal date in your Billing dashboard.

  • An optional add-on was included in your checkout. Your receipt will show exactly what was charged.

  • A previous failed payment was retried. If an earlier payment didn't go through, the system will retry it once the card is updated.

If none of these explain it, email us at [email protected] with the charge amount and date.

How do I update my payment method?

  1. Click your profile photo in the top-right corner and select Billing.

  2. Go to the Payment methods tab.

  3. Click Edit beside your current payment method.

  4. Enter your new payment details and click Save.

You can manage your billing details from a web or mobile browser. This is not available in the iOS or Android app.

Will I get a receipt?

Yes. A receipt is sent to your account email address after every successful charge. If you didn't receive one, check your spam folder or search for emails from Face Yoga Method or Stripe. You can also view and download receipts from the History tab in your Billing dashboard.

How do I download an invoice?

  1. Log in and go to your profile photo → Billing.

  2. Click the History tab.

  3. Find the payment and click the download icon next to it.

What happens if my payment fails?

  • You'll receive an email notification with instructions for updating your payment details.

  • The system will automatically retry the charge after a short period.

  • If the payment remains unresolved, your membership access may be paused until billing is updated.

To avoid any interruption, update your card as soon as you receive the failed payment notice.

How do I upgrade or downgrade my membership plan?

  1. Log in and go to profile photo → Billing.

  2. Click the three dots next to your subscription.

  3. Select Change plan or Upgrade.

Plan changes take effect immediately and are charged right away.
